Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SellSidekick collects, why, and what control you have over it. We keep it short and specific to what the product actually does.

Who we are

SellSidekick is a tool for sellers of digital wall art. You upload one artwork and we generate print-ready files, room mockups and listing text. Questions: hello@sellsidekick.com.

What we collect

• Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture.
• Your uploads and outputs — the artwork you upload, and the print files, mockups and listing text generated from it.
• Mockup templates — any template images or PSD-derived renders you add.
• Usage records — a log of each generation (time, which generator was used, credits spent, number of files produced). We use this for billing accuracy, rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Billing data — a Stripe customer reference and your plan/credit balance. We never see or store your card details; those go directly to Stripe.

How we use it

• To run the service: process your artwork and deliver your files and listing text.
• To manage your account, credits and subscription.
• To send transactional email (email confirmation, password reset, purchase confirmation).
• To prevent abuse (rate limits, detecting automated misuse).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.

Processors we rely on

To deliver the service we share the minimum necessary data with:

• Neon — database hosting (account, credits, usage records).
• Vercel — application hosting and file storage for your uploads and generated files.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini) — used only when you choose an AI generator. In that case a preview of your artwork is sent to that provider so it can write your listing text. If you use the template generator, no image is sent to any AI provider.

Your artwork is not used to train AI

We do not use your uploads to train any model, and we do not license them to anyone. They are processed only to produce your own files and listing text.

Retention and deletion

• Your artwork and generated files are kept until you delete them. You can delete any item yourself from the Library at any time, which removes both the database record and the stored files.
• Usage records are retained for billing and abuse-prevention purposes.
• To delete your entire account and all associated data, email hello@sellsidekick.com and we will remove it.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@sellsidekick.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to production data is limited to what is required to operate the service.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
